My collection used Hakka traditional textiles that I bought from Taiwan. My ancestry is Hakka and I want to share and celebrate this culture. I kept my design silhouette trendy and modern to help people experience these traditional textiles from a modern perspective.I seek a transformation; a rebirth of exquisite traditional patterns, showcasing their timeless beauty with contemporary styling. It is a journey, a melding of the old and new, classic and contemporary, ancient East and Modern West. My purpose is to bridge the gap between these different cultures and times and produce harmony. We should cherish the diversity of different cultures around us; we all share the same human existence. The more we learn about each other, the more we can work together for the common good.
